I am truly blown away with the Helsinki dress. The fabric is rich and natural. Fabric pattern captivating. Fit is so lovely and for a 2x pear shaped body - that says volumes. The pockets are disappointing. They are finished beautifully. But placed too low to access well. And the shallow depth renders them non functional.

I work on a college campus and the Helsinki dress is a wardrobe staple for me - comfortable; easy care; fun prints. When construction on new dorms broke ground next door to my department, I couldn’t resist this print. The only issue with the Helsinki dress is the shallow pockets…they hold nothing but your hands. My phone immediately flips out and they’re not even deep enough to reliably hold a lip balm. Until the pockets are deeper by about two inches, this otherwise brilliant dress will never get a five-star review from me.
